“Avangard” Center hosted the finals of the 4^thContest of Beauty and Professional and Aesthetic Skills among Girls Serving in the Airborne Forces “Airborne Forces Beauty - 2021”.

Twelve beautiful girls serving in the Air Assault Forces from all over Russia participated in the contest. We had girls from Novorossiysk, Pskov, Ivanovo, Tula, Ulan-Use, Ulyanovsk, Kamyshin and Ussuriysk air assault (airborne) troops, from the special operations troop and military administration in Kubinka and Medvezhyi Ozera (Moscow Region), from the Omsk Training Center, and from Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command College named after General of the Army V.F. Margelov.   

At several stages, the girls demonstrated their level of professional training, charm, grace, social skills, cooking skills and creativity.

A “Power of Arms” test was the first trial on their road to victory. The girls competed in shooting Yarygin pistols and in taking apart (incompletely) Kalashnikov rifles and putting them back together.

The girls showed their skills in cooking and serving dishes in a “Magic Cook” test, and at a “Couturier” stage they made elegant aprons and presented their ingenious design solutions to the expert jury.

The three final stages took place on 3^rdMarch in the concert hall of “Avangard” Center. These included a “Name Card”, “Creative Act” and “Officers’ Ball” tests.

On the basis of scores gained in all the tests, Julia Merkina from Moscow Region was named the winner.

At the victory ceremony, Darya Borisova, Director of “Avangard” Center, handed the ribbon to one of Vice-Misses of the contest.
