“Avangard” Center Team Participated in Festive Concert Dedicated to Homeland Defender’s Day
A festive concert dedicated to the Homeland Defender’s Day took place in the Central Academic Theatre of the Russian Army on 23rd February.
This event was attended by military men, representatives of public and charity organizations, trainees of military patriotic clubs, veterans and combatants.
The concert features best Russian performers and theatrical, choreographic and vocal bands of Russia. Together with representatives of the “YOUNG ARMY” Voluntary Russian Children’s and Youth Movement, the team of “Avangard” Educational and Methodic Center for Military Patriotic Education of the Youth has also prepared a present for Russian military men. They performed a patriotic act, a quodlibet of several songs including, “Our Heroic Power”, “Go Russia” and others.
Darya Borisova, Director of the “Avangard Center”, says that such events help us promote respect to heroic deeds of previous generations among the youth and keep the memories of heroes. Foe our team, the word combination “Homeland Defender” is interwoven into their profession and military patriotic education of the youth.
The concert also features other famous singers, such as Lev Leshchenko, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Alexander Rozenbaum, Valeriy Syutkin and others.
