Avangard welcomes its guests again at the Open Day

On June 4, the Avangard military-patriotic youth training center hosted an open day. Everyone was able to get acquainted with the facilities and its infrastructure, as well as take part in master classes from the Avangard instructors and the Central Sports Club of the Army.

One of the key events was the military-tactical game "Cadet's Day". Teams of up to 10 people have overcome a number of challenges. Among them: an obstacle course, fire and tactical training, grenade throwing, standards for RCBZ, rescue of the wounded, tourism, a pneumatic shooting range, AK-74 magazine equipment. Among the participants of the game are schoolchildren from Moscow and the Moscow region, pupils of the "Camp of Real Heroes".

On the central Avangard square, a solemn military swearing-in ceremony was held for new recruits, members of the Russian national Olympic sports teams selected for further service in CSKA sports companies.

General of the Army Nikolai Pankov, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, took part in the ceremony. Four-time Olympic champion in fencing Viktor KROVOPUSKOV, Olympic champion in gymnastics Olga KARASEVA, Olympic champion in gymnastics Vladimir MARKELOV, Olympic champion in air rifle shooting, Yuri FEDKIN, Olympic champion in pistol shooting Mikhail NESTRUYEV, Olympic champion in boxing Alexander LEBZYAK, four-time Olympic champion in gymnastics Alexey NEMOV, Olympic champion in bullet shooting Viktor VLASOV were honored guests of the event.

Also, on the territory of the Avangard center, platforms for robotics, medical care, assembly and disassembly of automatic weapons, RCBZ, firetag were opened for everyone. At the same time, master classes from CSKA worked, everyone could try their hand at sambo, judo, taekwondo, fencing, track and field athletics, kickboxing, boxing, kettlebell lifting, throwing sports knives, trampoline jumping, various martial arts, weightlifting.

The open day pleased all those present with a bright concert program, all guests were able to get acquainted with the summer shifts of the center, plunge into the atmosphere of army life and sports victories.

"At the Open Day, we want to tell you that the summer camp can be of a different format. Today, the participants of the game" Cadet Day " took a crash course for a young fighter and experienced the subtleties of military affairs. Starting from June 6, the Avangard center will host the first high school students from Moscow, who will pass free ten-day training camps with a military-patriotic bias. We will move away from traditional bonfires and focus on physical, medical, combat and tactical training. The cadets will also get acquainted with Olympic champions and famous personalities, gain new knowledge about the Armed Forces, and learn to take responsibility for themselves and their comrades," said Daria Borisova, director of the Avangard Center for Military - Patriotic Youth Education.
