On Friday, 18^thSeptember, 86 senior students from Odintsovo Okrug came for opening and the first shift of “Avangard” Center for Military Patriotic Education of the Youth. In total, the shift will host 600 young men from 7 districts. Andrey Ivanov, Head of the Municipality, told us that the patriotic center established by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is located in “Patriot” Park of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

“An “Avangard” Center for Military Patriotic Education of the Youth is about to be opened in “Patriot” Park. This Center will hold five-day training sessions for senior students from Moscow Region all around the year. The first shift will have 86 10^th-grade students from our district. The youths will be undergoing practical training in shooting various types of weapons in multimedia shooting ranges, flying in wind tunnels, jumping with parachutes using interactive dynamic simulators and get involved in other activities”, said Andrey Ivanov.

It should be noted that trainees will not be able to use mobile phones, smartphones and other gadgets while staying in the camp. However, they will be able to get in touch with their parents whenever they need.
