The "Give Five" forum dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the social movement has started in the Avangard center

At the Vanguard training and methodological center for military-patriotic education of young people, yunarmeytsy from 85 regions of the Russian Federation gathered at the Give Five forum to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the All-Russian children's and youth military-patriotic public movement "Yunarmiya".

On the opening day, May 28, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu came to congratulate the young patriots. The head of the department visited the forum sites and talked with activists of the Movement.

During the opening ceremony, the Russian Defense Minister read out an address by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the participants of the anniversary event.

In his greeting to the yunarmeytsy, Vladimir Putin reminded that it was the representatives of the younger generation who supported the idea of creating the Unarmee organization, became its co-authors and inspirers.

- Since then, Unarmia has brought together hundreds of thousands of talented and purposeful young people from different regions of Russia. In the "Warmia" enter, to temper the spirit and character, to learn to work in a team, to pass a decent military and athletic training to learn the basics of the profession, find reliable friends and comrades, it is important that in his heart you are actively engaged in the search, volunteering, care of veterans, seek to help those who are in need of support, – said the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

In turn,Sergei Shoigu thanked teachers, parents and mentors of young soldiers for the worthy upbringing of the younger generation, and also joined the words of the president, noting that in five years "Yunarmiya" has become the most massive youth movement in our country and has 810 thousand participants.

«You are doing a great deal to preserve for the future the memory of those who faithfully serve our fatherland. No significant event of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation or the constituent entities of the Russian Federation takes place without your participation. More than 2.5 thousand young soldiers entered military educational institutions, chose for themselves the profession of defending the motherland. We would very much like the boundaries of our activities to expand, become deeper and cover not only all subjects, but also cities, " the head of the Ministry of Defense addressed the yunarmeyets.

Also guests of honor at the anniversary ceremony were Viktor Bondarev, Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces; Svetlana Khorkina, two-time Olympic champion in gymnastics; Alexey Romanov, leader and founder of the Resurrection group; Nikolai Zemtsov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Alexander Kolmakov, Russian military commander and Chairman of the DOSAAF of Russia since December 17, 2014; and Valery Borshchev, a Soviet dissident and Russian politician, Chairman of the Council of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Viktor Ermakov.

In addition, at the opening of the forum, Nikita Nagorny, the leader of the movement, three-time world and European champion in gymnastics, Olympic silver medalist, spoke about the activities and development of the movement.

The "Give Five" forum is held with the aim of developing and popularizing the yunarmey brotherhood, strengthening the traditions of the Movement, and will also serve as an innovative educational platform for the formation of pre-professional skills in the field of military training.

The program presents 11 areas of activity of the Unarmia movement: leadership and civic patriotism, e-sports, career guidance, innovative and scientific and technical creativity, military sports direction, digital project "Unarmia Educational Platform", social project" Letter to a Soldier", historical, local history, tourism direction, ecology, creativity.

First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Unarmia Movement, Director of the Avangard CenterDaria Borisova noted that it is a great responsibility for the Avangard team to receive young soldiers from all over Russia.

— This is a very important and significant event for all participants of the patriotic movement. The most active, talented and ambitious leaders of the Movement from 85 regions gathered in the most modern patriotic center of Russia. I am sure that they will be able to increase the glory of our country with dignity, and will be able to do even more than previous generations for its prosperity. In turn, the Avangard team tried to create comfortable living and leisure conditions for the children. I hope that staying here will leave them with vivid impressions and emotions, each participant will find new friends, and perhaps in the future he will return to the" Avangard "of Uzhu in the status of a cadet," said Daria Borisova.

The forum will last for three days and will end on May 30. The program includes educational and entertainment venues, game sections, various master classes and quests.
